You work with clients struggling with schizophrenia and other serious psychiatric disorders. Often they are admitted due to acute dysregulation or crisis, where intensive guidance, good observation, and rapid intervention are essential. You know how to recognize signs of dysregulation, how to de-escalate, and how to create a safe environment in which clients can stabilize.

As a nurse, you support clients during their psychiatric dysregulation for which they require admission. You offer them an environment in which peace and safety are central and help them cope with their emotions and behavior. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you ensure that clients receive the care they need to stabilize. You observe, identify signs, and know how to act quickly and adequately when situations escalate. It may be that you guide clients in daily activities, support them in building a daily structure, or help them gain insight into their recovery process.

You choose for yourself which location you want to work in. If you want a fixed group and to build a bond, that is possible. If you prefer to alternate between locations and target groups, that is also possible.

• Salary in accordance with the CAO Mental Healthcare, classification in job group 50: €3,560 to €4,716 gross per month based on 36 hours. Amounts as of July 1, 2026. Classification depends on your diploma and your experience.
• 8.33% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and irregularity allowance: 22% in the evening, 44% at night, 38% to 49% on Saturday, and 60% on Sunday and public holidays. A Sunday shift therefore yields up to €44.43 per hour.

• A contract with fixed hours if you want that, from 16 to 36 hours per week. If you would rather be completely free, that is also possible.
• Holiday allowance, vacation days, travel expense reimbursement, and pension accrual. Simply arranged.
• A fixed contact person who knows you by name and who answers when you call.

• A completed MBO level 4 or HBO education in the field of care or welfare.
• Good communication skills and the ability to switch gears quickly.
• A calm and professional attitude, even under pressure, with which you offer clients the necessary peace and security.
• Experience within psychiatry is a plus.
