The role

Are you strong at organizing, do you enjoy working with data, and do you get energy from structure and overview? As a Procurement Support Assistant at Dura Vermeer, you are an important link between project teams, buyers, and suppliers. In this varied role, you combine supporting the external staffing desk with data-driven procurement. You ensure that agreements are properly recorded, data is reliable, and processes run smoothly.

This will be your job
At Dura Vermeer Infra Division in Utrecht (Leidsche Rijn), you support the external staffing desk in the process surrounding the deployment of external employees. You process requests, draft staffing orders and agreements, and carefully record agreements made. Additionally, you monitor durations, rates, and end dates, and ensure that files are complete and up to date. Is information missing or are agreements at risk of expiring? Then you take action and coordinate with the right colleagues and suppliers.

What you'll do

Additionally, you help the Procurement department to work increasingly in a data-driven manner. You collect, check, and process data regarding procurement expenditures, suppliers, contracts, and external deployment. You keep data in our systems up to date and create practical overviews, reports, and analyses that help your procurement colleagues gain insight into the available information. You also support the updating of dashboards and preferred supplier lists and signal deviations or incompleteness.

You work accurately and structured, switch easily between different tasks, and know how to organize information clearly. At the same time, you look beyond the daily administration. You signal where processes can be smarter, simpler, or more efficient and actively think along about standardization and improvements. In this way, you contribute to a professional procurement organization in which collaboration, reliable data, and continuous improvement are central.

This is where you belong

You are part of the Procurement department of Dura Vermeer Infra Division in our sustainable office in Utrecht Leidsche Rijn. Together, we support the colleagues working on the construction, renewal, and maintenance of the Dutch (Rail) infrastructure.

You will quickly become part of the Dura Vermeer family, and you will notice it. You are well taken care of, the door is always open, and we are always there for each other. The atmosphere within the project teams is good. Dura Vermeer has growth ambitions, and you will help build towards this! You will get plenty of space and freedom to advance yourself and the team to achieve the best results. And to develop yourself.

Requirements

Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.

With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.

Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.

This is what you bring

You work accurately, maintain an overview, and take initiative when something is missing. You enjoy supporting colleagues and like to combine administrative tasks with numbers and data.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Experience in an administrative or operational support role.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and an affinity for digital systems.

  • Interest in data and processing information into useful overviews.

  • Good communication skills and a proactive, structured working attitude.

  • The ability to work independently and also seek collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
