This position falls into scale 9, with a gross monthly salary between € 4,552 and € 6,069 (based on 36 hours per week).

As Category Buyer Indirects at ASN Bank in Utrecht, you are the strategic procurement partner for the entire organization. You lead strategic procurement and selection processes, manage supplier relationships, and realize demonstrable value through smart procurement.

You will get to work on developing and executing procurement strategies for indirect categories (Facilities, HR, and MarCom) at ASN Bank. As a strategic partner, you lead strategic procurement and selection processes and advise stakeholders from A to Z. You combine commercial knowledge with a sharp vision on sustainability, risk management, and innovation, thereby making a difference for a bank with real social impact.

• You develop and implement category and sourcing strategies for the assigned indirect categories.
• You lead strategic procurement and selection processes, RFPs, and contract negotiations, and ensure optimal commercial terms.
• You advise internal stakeholders on procurement, contract, and supplier issues and translate their needs into effective solutions.
• You identify savings opportunities, monitor supplier risks, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• You stimulate sustainability and innovation within the supplier chain and contribute to the further professionalization of the Procurement department.

You translate complex procurement issues into clear strategies and concrete results and have a sharp eye for both commercial and social impact. You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers and communicate your viewpoints clearly and constructively.
