The role

At our Beef location in Enschede, a lot of information converges regarding sales, administration, and daily operations. As a Sales Back Office Assistant, you ensure that documents, data, and processes are correct. This allows colleagues to move forward quickly, keeps agreements clear, and ensures information is reliable and easy to find.

You work closely with the sales department and coordinate with various colleagues within the organization. You will be given the trust to maintain an overview independently, identify improvements, and organize matters well. Precisely because you work accurately, your contribution has a direct effect on collaboration and a smoothly running food chain.

Making an impact together with confidence. That is working at Vion.

What you'll do

You ensure that the administrative foundation of the sales department is in place. You monitor documentation, keep data up to date, and see where processes can be smarter or clearer.

For example, you start your day by checking documents and outstanding actions. After that, you coordinate with colleagues from sales and other departments, process changes, and ensure that everyone can work with the correct information.

  • Managing, checking, and processing documentation and administrative data.

  • Ensuring logical storage, classification, and good findability of documents.

  • Coordinating and processing document changes and revisions.

  • Maintaining and carefully using document management systems.

  • Preparing and processing administrative reports and overviews.

  • Supporting the sales department with various administrative tasks.

  • Monitoring that information is available, complete, and correct.

  • Identifying bottlenecks and proactively proposing ways to improve processes and working methods.

What do you bring?

You love having an overview and work carefully, even when multiple matters are occurring at once. You do not wait when something can be done better, but you take responsibility and coordinate easily with colleagues.

What do we offer you?

At Vion, you get the space to organize your work well and take responsibility. You work in a team where colleagues help each other and where your contribution is visible in daily practice. Additionally, you get the opportunity to further develop yourself and think along about improvements.

About VION Food Group

In their own words

About the company & team

At Vion, you work in an international organization with a down-to-earth and accessible culture. We trust that you take responsibility and give you the space to shape that in your own way.

Collaboration is important in this regard. You know the colleagues you work with, the lines are short, and you quickly see what your work yields. In this position, that means very concretely: correct information, reliable documentation, and a sales department that can push forward.

We are in the middle of the food chain. This also makes a back office function tangible: what you organize well behind the scenes supports colleagues, customers, and processes further down the chain. At the same time, you get space to learn, take initiative, and actually implement improvements.

Additional information

At Vion, we believe that differences make us stronger. We want to create a work environment in which everyone feels welcome, safe, and valued.

That is why we invite all suitable candidates to apply, regardless of gender, age, origin, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, physical abilities, or background.

What matters to us is who you are, what you bring, and how you want to make a difference together with us.
