The role

From tight scheduling to a team that knows what needs to be done: you maintain the overview at the reinforcement plant and also roll up your own sleeves. That will be your playing field.

Our client is a wonderful family business, specialized in reinforced concrete structures for residential construction, utility construction, and infrastructure. The organization is in full development and works with a dedicated team in which craftsmanship and quality are central.

For the reinforcement plant, they are looking for a Working Foreman. In this role, you are the link between planning and execution. You lead the team, actively participate yourself, and ensure that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the agreed quality.

You are visible on the work floor, know what is happening, and simultaneously keep an eye on the bigger picture. Where necessary, you adjust, solve problems, and ensure the team can continue.

What you'll do

Leading, guiding, and motivating the team within the reinforcement plant
Actively participating yourself on the work floor and setting a good example
Liaising with planning and ensuring that activities are carried out on time and according to agreement
Supervising the quality of the work and ensuring that agreements and work instructions are followed
Identifying and solving bottlenecks that arise during the activities
Thinking along about how activities can be carried out more smartly, more efficiently, and more pleasantly

Who are we looking for?

Someone who knows his trade, loves working with his hands, and also enjoys taking responsibility for a team. You don't have to be a born manager. However, we do expect you to be confident, communicate clearly, and know how to engage colleagues in a natural way.
