Internship Work Preparation and/or Execution

For our Meandering Meuse project, we are looking for several enthusiastic students who want to complete an internship within work preparation and/or execution. With a project length of over 26 kilometers, this project offers plenty of opportunities to gain experience. You can choose to develop your knowledge broadly by looking into both directions, or specifically go into depth by specializing. Whatever you choose: you will truly participate and get the space to get the most out of your internship.

You will fully participate within the project team and get a good overview of both work preparation and execution. Depending on your interests and learning goals, you can focus on one of these components, or combine both.

• Drawing up and elaborating work and execution plans
• Applying for permits and ordering materials
• Support with calculations and quotes
• Collaborating on the preparation and monitoring of planning, quality, and budget

• You will work on the construction site and support the site manager with daily activities, such as small measurement tasks, checking materials, and monitoring progress.
• Together with the site manager, you will help keep the work running and gain insight into how planning, safety, and quality are monitored in practice.
• You will support preparatory and administrative tasks that belong to the execution of a project.
• By shadowing site managers and work preparers, you will learn how a project is carried out from preparation to realization.

During your internship, you will get the chance to learn a lot, take responsibility, and discover which role suits you best.

Furthermore:

• You are following an MBO or HBO education in the direction of Hydraulic Engineering or Civil Engineering
