The role

From a striking trend in absenteeism figures to a difficult conversation about the Generation Pact, you ensure that managers always receive the right advice. That will be your playing field.

Our client is a large facilities service provider with thousands of colleagues, active at locations such as hotels, holiday parks, healthcare institutions, and schools. They ensure clean, pleasant places to work and live every day - and are looking for an HR Advisory Associate for their HR team in Amsterdam.

You are the link between policy and practice. You know what is happening on the work floor, translate that into concrete actions, and ensure that processes are carried out within the correct legal and organizational frameworks. Furthermore, using HR data such as absenteeism, leave, and deployment, you provide managers with the insight they need to make well-founded decisions.

What you'll do

Signaling deviations in HR figures (such as overtime/undertime, absenteeism, leave, travel expenses, temporary agency workers, VOG, and annual reviews) and providing targeted advice on these
Handling HR issues that fall outside standard processes, such as meeting minutes, warning letters, legal matters, and contact with trade unions or legal experts
Thinking along within set frameworks regarding HR cases such as the Generation Pact, training, and development programs
Guiding or executing (temporary) HR themes and projects, including following up on actions from meetings
Analyzing HR data and providing it timely and correctly for decision-making within operational management

Mbo+/hbo work and thinking level
Skilled in analyzing HR data and recognizing trends and deviations
Strong in communication: you advise managers proactively and switch easily between different conversation partners
Structured, accurate, and service-oriented
Practical insight and a hands-on attitude
