Assistant Manager Childcare (0-4 years)

In this varied role, you will combine your pedagogical experience with managerial responsibilities.

• 3 days per week you will work in the vertical group (0-4 years). Together with your colleagues, you will ensure a safe, warm, and stimulating environment in which children can develop optimally.
• 1 day per week you will work at the office and support the manager in the daily management of the location.
• You are visible and involved on the work floor and are an accessible point of contact for colleagues.
• You actively contribute ideas regarding the quality of the childcare and pedagogical services.
• You identify areas for improvement, take initiative, and help to actually implement ideas.

De Blokkenhut is an ambitious location. At this moment, the location consists of one group, but the plans are big: in the coming period, we will grow to three groups.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional who dares to take responsibility and gets energy from collaborating and developing.

You:

• possess a completed, qualifying education for childcare and have 3F language level;
• have demonstrable work experience within childcare - this is a requirement;
• are organizationally strong and know how to maintain a good overview;
• take initiative and see opportunities to further improve the quality of the childcare;
• communicate easily and clearly with colleagues and parents;
• know how to motivate and engage colleagues in a positive way;
• get energy from an organization that is in full development and in which there is still plenty of room to build.
