Construction Project Manager in the Netherlands

To supplement our team, we are looking for a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager at Wessels Rijssen, you are ultimately responsible for the project organization, project realization, and total process progress for one or more construction projects.

As a Project Manager, you will be involved in the development and realization of (complex) construction projects. Additionally, you will lead the project team (including execution, procurement, and work preparation).

And furthermore:

• You coordinate procurement processes for the best quality-to-price ratio, fitting within the available budget;

• Monitoring and optimizing the schedule and researching optimizations regarding construction and execution methods;

• You follow up on our safety policy and make an active contribution to safety awareness and culture;

• Monitoring periodic quality and costs, including providing reports.

In this position, we are looking for a candidate who already brings some experience in a Project Manager role. We will further guide you internally from standard projects to larger and more complex projects so that you can continue to develop in the role of Project Manager.

You get energy from realizing the most beautiful projects in the Netherlands together with a team. You have demonstrable experience in preparing and supervising construction projects and you are able to discuss your vision and findings in a convincing manner with your team and stakeholders.

Leading and motivating teams comes naturally to you and you are a pleasant and reliable point of contact for your colleagues.

In addition, you bring the following:

• A completed HBO diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar;

• Experience with digital construction (BIM) and working in a digital project file;

• Experience with drafting and monitoring schedules, budgets, and variations (more and less work);

• Knowledge of Building Decree, Construction Law, and HSE regulations;

• Proficiency in the Dutch language, both spoken and written;

• An availability of 36-40 hours per week.
