A position for 40 hours per week;
A full-time salary of € 3,000 to € 4,000 gross per 4 weeks, paid out in 13 periods;
25 vacation days and 16 non-scheduled days from the Gebr. Van Kessel CAO and a good pension scheme with an employer contribution;
An electric car with a charging pass for all of Europe;
Plenty of room to further develop yourself towards becoming an independent Site Manager.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you support the Site Manager in the daily organization of activities within our maintenance contract in Zuid-Holland Zuid. You will be found outdoors frequently, keeping an eye on developments together with your colleagues, and ensuring that work is well-prepared and executed.
With us, you will be given the space to further learn the profession of Site Manager. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, take on increasing responsibility, and thus grow step by step within operations. Our motto is not for nothing: Samen uit, samen thuis.
Together with the Site Manager and the rest of the project team, you assess the state of our area daily. You will examine which tasks are necessary and ensure they are properly addressed. In doing so, you contribute to roads, greenery, and other objects in the public space remaining safe, tidy, and in good condition.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you support the Site Manager in the daily management of our skilled workers and subcontractors. You assist in distributing and planning the work, monitor progress, and coordinate with the work preparers and technical manager.
You will not only be found in the office. It is precisely outdoors, on-site, that you see what is happening and what is needed. You check whether work is carried out according to agreement, identify bottlenecks, and discuss these with the Site Manager. You also assist with reporting and the administrative handling of the work.
Many tasks are carried out using traffic measures. Safe working and clear agreements are therefore important. Everyone must know what is expected of him or her, and you help the Site Manager to organize this well on a daily basis.
As you gain more experience, you will receive more space to supervise tasks independently. This allows you to develop within the project into a Site Manager who can eventually manage tasks and crews independently.
You will be working within the DBO Zuid-Holland Zuid project team, with Numansdorp as the project location. The project includes roads and related objects in the Zuid-Holland Zuid region. For a period of ten years, we provide the daily management and maintenance of, among other things, roads, greenery, and road-related objects.
The project team consists of, among others, a project leader/contract manager, technical manager, maintenance engineer, work preparers, and site managers. So, you are not alone. There is a wealth of knowledge available within the team, which we also use to help you further your development.
We work with asset management and the PDCA cycle to continuously improve our work. At the same time, we like to keep things practical. We work hard, help each other when necessary, and there is always room for humor.

We find it much more important that you want to learn, show initiative, and want to grow further in the profession together with experienced colleagues.
Furthermore:
Ideally, you have completed a technical or green MBO education;
You have an affinity with civil engineering, infrastructure, maintenance, or greenery;
Experience in operations is a plus, but you do not need to be an experienced Site Manager yet;
You can collaborate well and dare to address colleagues when necessary;
You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
You are willing to follow additional courses and training;
You have a driving license B;
Ideally, you live in the Zuid-Holland region, fitting our project location in Numansdorp.
