The role

As a Junior Project Manager Technology, you will contribute to the sustainability of more than 1,750 Kruidvat, Trekpleister, and ICI PARIS XL stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. In this role, you will work on technical sustainability and replacement projects that make our stores future-proof. Think of the transition from gas-fired installations to all-electric solutions, replacing outdated lighting, and renewing technical installations such as automatic doors. With this, you make an important contribution to the sustainability goals of AS Watson.

You are responsible for the preparation, coordination, and execution of these projects. In doing so, you work closely with suppliers, installers, and internal stakeholders. You assess technical proposals, ensure a sound project approach, and monitor progress, quality, and costs. At the same time, you look beyond today's project. You think along about how we can organize technical replacements more smartly, efficiently, and sustainably.

Working from our head office in Renswoude, you collaborate with colleagues from the Store Realization & Maintenance department. From here, you are in daily contact with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and other external partners who contribute to improving, making more sustainable, and future-proofing our stores. This is a coordinating and directing role from the office. The execution of work lies with external parties, while you ensure the preparation, alignment, and management of projects. You ensure that projects are well-prepared, organized, and coordinated, so that our stores experience as little disruption as possible and projects are successfully realized.

What you'll do

You coordinate technical sustainability and replacement projects from preparation through to delivery and monitor planning, quality, costs, and progress.
You analyze technical issues and assess quotes and proposals from suppliers and installers.
You work closely with internal colleagues and external partners, such as stores, suppliers, and property owners. You align all involved parties and ensure that projects run smoothly and successfully.
You contribute to tenders and selection processes for technical projects and suppliers.
You think along about how technical replacements and sustainability projects can be organized more smartly, efficiently, and sustainably.
