Junior Project Manager Construction and Real Estate

• A completed university degree (WO), in the direction of Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Technical Business Administration

• 0-3 years of relevant work experience (e.g., as a junior project manager or project coordinator);

• Affinity with construction and project-based working;

• Strong communication and analytical skills;

• A proactive and independent working attitude;

• Good command of the Dutch language.

At Aveco de Bondt, as a Junior Project Manager Construction and Real Estate, you will get the chance to grow in the profession under the guidance of experienced project managers and take on more responsibility step by step.

You will join an independent, entrepreneurial, and technically strong team of 11 experienced project managers in which a lot of seniority is present. An environment where you learn a lot, can switch gears quickly, and where quality and collaboration are central.

As a Junior Project Manager Construction and Real Estate, you support the senior project manager in managing integrated construction projects. You will learn the profession in its full breadth: from design guidance to execution, site management, and supervision.

Salary indication: € 3362, - € 5332,-

Experience level: Starter and Junior

• Supporting project managers in organizing and coordinating construction projects;

• Aligning and coordinating various technical disciplines;

• Monitoring the integrity, planning, and quality of the project;

• Chairing and preparing construction team meetings (internal and external);

• Thinking along and cooperating on design processes, execution phases, and supervision;

• Step by step independently taking on smaller projects.

You will work on diverse projects ranging from social real estate to industry and residential construction.

You start the day at the office or at home by reviewing the planning and coordinating with a project manager. After that, you work on the preparation of a construction team meeting or process actions from a project meeting.

Later in the week, you will head out to a project location to discuss progress with colleagues or to supervise. On average, you work approximately four days at the office or at home and one day on location.

You continuously switch between analysis, coordination, consultation, and execution. This is exactly what makes the profession of project manager so versatile.
