Senior Project Manager Construction and Real Estate

You are an experienced project manager with solid technical knowledge and a result-oriented, connecting way of working.

Furthermore, you possess:

• At least a completed HBO degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering, Technical Business Administration or similar;

• At least 15 years of experience as a project manager in the construction sector;

• Experience in building and expanding teams;

• Experience in leadership within projects;

• An entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and communicatively strong personality;

• Good command of the Dutch language.

Location: Hybrid and at the office in Amstelveen

Salary indication: €6,300 to €9,000 (depending on skills and experience)

As a Senior Project Manager Construction and Real Estate, you will work independently on challenging and diverse construction projects. You bear responsibility for a wide range of tasks within new construction, renovation, sustainability, and transformation.

• Independently leading projects in new construction, renovation, sustainability, and transformation;

• Independently securing assignments and building and maintaining a (personal) network in the region;

• An active role in expanding the team from the Amstelveen branch;

• Monitoring quality, planning, finances, and risks within your projects;

• Coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including municipalities, schools, healthcare institutions, housing associations, and contractors;

• Advising clients and working integrally with fellow specialists within the Construction & Sustainability Business Line;

• Varied working: half the week in the office, and otherwise at project locations and/or at home;

You work on a great diversity of projects, where you personally have influence over your project mix.

In this position, from our Amstelveen office, you will provide daily leadership to projects within social real estate, residential construction, and industry. These can be projects on-site at the client's location or internal advisory assignments. You manage project leaders and involved advisors and ensure effective collaboration between all disciplines.

You work closely with our professionals from other branches and know how to create a sense of teamwork among colleagues at different locations despite this distance. At the same time, you have a (commercial) network and make an active contribution to the growth of our team and regional presence around the Amstelveen branch.

• De Botter: A building for learning, caring, sports, and meeting;

• Program management for Waternet, Amsterdam;

• Project management and supervision of the transformation of the former Arënsplein hospital into the Saxion Center for Entrepreneurship in Enschede;

• Design and process guidance for the new ASML hall in Veldhoven;

• Design and process guidance for the new High Five student housing in Utrecht;

• Project management & supervision of various villas.
