The role

COMPLEX INCIDENTS, GREAT RESPONSIBILITY. SOMETHING FOR YOU?
The phone rings. The control room has received a report. While the team is on its way, you are already busy with the initial assessment of the incident. What are the risks? What is the safest approach? Which people and resources are needed?
Whether it concerns an incident involving hazardous substances, a complex cleaning assignment, or another calamity, you maintain the overview. You lead the team, create an action plan, and advise clients on safety and the execution of the work.

What you'll do

What will you do?
As an incident coordinator, you take the lead during larger and complex incidents and projects. You coordinate the activities and manage a team of approximately 6 to 10 employees on location. You assess the situation, map out the risks, and create a clear action plan and appropriate work instructions. During execution, you monitor safety, quality, and progress. You advise clients and other involved parties regarding hazardous substances, safety risks, and the safe execution of the work. You also maintain contact where necessary with, for example, environmental services, provinces, and municipalities. You are the point of contact on location and ensure the correct administrative handling of the incident or project.

What will you do?

Are you our new hero?
Do you have experience as a foreman or team leader within, for example, chemical logistics, hazardous substances, ADR transport, tank storage, or industrial services? Then we might be a good match! You remain calm when the pressure rises, naturally take the lead, and use your natural authority to bring a team along. You switch gears quickly, dare to make decisions, and can clearly advise clients about safety.
