For years, Van Aalst Elektro has been working with fixed construction partners on beautiful residential projects. In doing so, we provide the total electrotechnical infrastructure for houses and buildings, complete from advice and design to installation and maintenance. We work together in a pleasant atmosphere on challenging new construction and renovation projects. Are you looking for a great workplace with plenty of opportunities to grow? Then read on quickly!
We offer you a position in which you have responsibility for your own work and planning. Additionally, in your role as project leader, we offer:
Flexible working: Your working hours can be scheduled flexibly. For example, you can start between 07:00 and 09:00 AM. Depending on what time you start your day, you can also finish it accordingly. Additionally, part-time work is one of the possibilities;
Transport: To be able to perform this position well, you will receive a car from us at your disposal, which you may also drive privately subject to a tax addition;
Travel distance: All our projects are located within a travel distance of 45 minutes so that you are always working within an area around the branch;
Atmosphere mastery: At Van Aalst Elektro, you work in a team where atmosphere is important. Think of beautiful events such as the family day outing to Walibi and our company party at the Zandvoort circuit - exactly one day before Formula 1! VDK is, in fact, the official Event Supporter of the Dutch Grand Prix 2025 & 2026.
We apply the CAO Metaal en Techniek, whereby the following secondary employment conditions apply:
25 vacation days & 13 ADV days;
A market-conform salary depending on your knowledge and experience;
A solid pension scheme via PMT including partner and survivor's pension, disability pension, and senior days.
Within Van Aalst, as a project leader, you are responsible for the entire project together with the work preparer and draftsman. In your role, you are responsible for:
Coordinating, planning, and managing the residential construction projects and the technicians in the field;
Ensuring that the necessary knowledge and craftsmanship remain guaranteed within Van Aalst;
Maintaining contacts with both customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Naturally, technical insight and affinity with (or experience in) electrotechnics. But, more importantly, you possess 'common sense' and you know what is required to lead larger residential construction projects effectively. In short, as a Project Leader for residential installations, you are a born coordinator. You can maintain a good overview and know how to manage projects from A to Z. Because you are in much contact with customers, contractors, and suppliers, you also possess good communication skills. At Van Aalst, we work as a team towards the end result. We are no-nonsense and have short lines. That is to say, we expect a pragmatic and hands-on mentality from you, whereby you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself if necessary.
Van Aalst is a total installer in the field of residential construction and renovations, and with our locations in Oss and Breda, we ensure broad coverage.
As part of the fast-growing VDK Group (185 companies, 9,000 employees), we offer a unique combination that you won't find anywhere else. We combine the advantages of a close-knit team with the expertise and growth opportunities of a large, national organization.
