Construction Project Organizer

• HBO or WO education, preferably in the field of Civil Engineering;

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience within the construction sector;

• Strong collaboration skills and a structured way of working;

• Experience with software and systems such as AutoCAD, planning programs, and Excel;

• Technical knowledge of construction processes and execution;

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• Salary from € 5,170 to € 6,553 gross per 4 weeks (€ 5,600 to € 7,100 gross per month) based on full-time employment;

• In addition to your salary, you receive a fixed amount for sustainable employability that contributes to staying healthy (2.3% according to cao Bouw & Infra);

• 43 days off according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement. Of these days, 13 are paid out in your individual budget; you can choose to buy these days back;

As a Construction Project Organizer at Hurks in Eindhoven, you are responsible for the optimal preparation, organization, and setup of construction projects. You draw up site layouts, schedules, and cost estimates and monitor these throughout the process. With your architectural knowledge, organizational skills, and enthusiasm, you engage colleagues in your approach and make an important contribution to successful projects.

You have a versatile role in which you make a difference every day:

• You clearly map out project risks and translate them into smart and efficient site layouts;

• You work within integrated project teams on tenders and construction team projects and determine the optimal construction methodology and execution strategy together with colleagues;

• You draw up construction schedules, site layouts, and cost estimates, both independently and together with colleagues;

• You are regularly present on the construction site to gain practical experience and take lessons learned to future projects;

• You maintain intensive contact with our equipment department and various suppliers to stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of equipment and construction logistics;

• You are the first point of contact for municipalities and external parties regarding BLVC plans;

• You actively contribute to the sustainability goals of Hurks and think along about innovative solutions, including the further development of the Green Construction Site.

In addition, you are involved in the preparation of complex and challenging construction projects, such as offices, residential construction projects, apartment complexes, and hospitals. You often work in a construction team context, where collaboration, personal initiative, sustainability, and safety are central. You also play a role in innovations within construction, such as new equipment applications and technological developments, including the use of a bricklaying robot.
