Do you want to learn how large-scale road construction projects are truly made? At Gebr. Van Kessel, as a Junior Civil Engineering Site Manager, you will get the chance to participate directly in practice. Working from our Midden/Zuid branch (Buren and Tilburg), you will work on visible and impactful projects, such as the Stadsforum Tilburg and the realization of the Meteren residential area. You will work together with an experienced site manager who will guide you and introduce you to the profession. Think of it as a well-matched duo: together you will manage the project and ensure that everything runs smoothly on-site. With us, you will receive responsibility, trust, and the space to grow.

As a Junior Site Manager, you will be found on the construction site daily and will learn step-by-step how to manage a project. You will maintain oversight, communicate with people, and ensure that the work is done well and safely.

Specifically, you will:

• Participate in the daily execution of road construction projects

• Direct and motivate colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Supervise planning, quality, costs, and safety

• Monitor progress and discuss specifics with the site manager and project manager

• Decide on the daily division of labor on the construction site

• Maintain administration (such as specification administration and receipts)

• Become increasingly independent and take on more responsibility

You will work on urban redesigns and preparing new residential areas for construction in Gelderland and Noord-Brabant. And just as importantly: we celebrate successes together. With team outings, barbecues, and quiz nights, it remains sociable even outside of working hours.
