Electrical Supervisor: Management & Maintenance of Civil Engineering Structures

As an Electrical Supervisor for Management & Maintenance of Civil Engineering Structures, you ensure that electrotechnical activities on bridges, locks, barriers, and tunnels are carried out safely and according to plan. You monitor technical integrity and handle malfunctions and maintenance efficiently. You are the point of contact on-site and maintain control over execution, safety, and quality. In this way, you make a direct contribution to the availability and safety of essential infrastructure.

• Leads electrotechnical maintenance and renovation activities on bridges, locks, barriers, and tunnels

• Directs technicians on a daily basis (electrotechnics/industrial automation)

• Monitors planning, quality, safety (VCA), work permits, and progress on-site

• Provides technical supervision and coaching and carries out inspections (NEN3140/maintenance protocols)

• Identifies deviations, risks, and (safety) issues and resolves these independently or escalates them

• Ensures correct material supply and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors

• Consults with the client regarding progress, technical choices, and possible improvements

• Reports performed activities via digital systems (e.g., Ultimo/Vialis systems)

• Contributes ideas for the optimization of maintenance processes and asset availability

• €4,400 - €5,900 gross per month based on full-time

• Completed MBO 4 or HBO education in Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, or equivalent

• At least several years of experience in utilities, infra, industrial automation, or asset management

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Focus on safety and quality (VCA-VOL and NEN3140 certification or willingness to obtain these)

• Flexibility: breakdown services and work outside regular hours are part of the profession

• Driving license B

• Experience within bridges, locks, barriers, or tunnel technical installations is a plus
