The role

Additional information

You will handle a portion of the Learning & Development administration in the broadest sense of the word. Your team never stands still and you will get the chance to develop yourself optimally. You will gain friendly colleagues and a hip, informal, flexible workplace. Does this all sound like music to your ears? Then come and put your talent to use with us!

You will be working in an HR Learning & Development team. You will not only work intensively with your own team, but also with the other departments within the VIGO Service Network, including the employees of the HR advisors department, HR services, financial administration, and ICT. The innovative strategy of our organization ensures that we are all constantly in motion. Our organizational structure requires you to enjoy making connections (both internal and external).

Hi, potential future HR intern!

We are Tom, Fleur, and Ilayda, all HR interns within VIGO Group. Although we are all following a different internship, we experience many of the same benefits. Fleur participates in daily HR practice and deals with HR projects, cases, and questions from across the entire organization. During her research internship, Ilayda focuses on her thesis research and is given the space to conduct research independently. Tom fills his internship with projects for HR Learning & Development and processes the administration for HR Learning & Development together with colleagues.

What we all greatly appreciate is the space you are given to develop yourself. You are challenged to take on matters independently and will quickly receive responsibility. Because of this, you learn a lot in a short time and come into contact with different people within the organization. At the same time, there is always room for questions, feedback, and guidance when you need it.

Additionally, you get the chance to discover many different sides of the HR profession. Whether you are doing a working internship or a research internship, your learning goals and interests are taken into account. This allows you to develop yourself in a way that suits you and discover which direction within HR appeals to you most.

The team also makes this internship position so enjoyable for us. Everyone is open to questions, feedback, or just a friendly chat. Additionally, we have lunch together daily, which allows you to truly get to know your colleagues personally. That ensures you feel welcome quickly and become part of the organization.

We have all been working within VIGO Group for two months now and feel extremely at ease. We are learning an incredible amount, are being challenged to further develop ourselves, and notice that we receive a lot of trust from the team.

Whether you choose a working internship or a research internship: within VIGO you get the chance to learn a lot, further develop yourself, and discover which side of HR suits you best. Does this sound like something for you? Then we hope to welcome you soon as our new HR intern!

Requirements

  • You are a 3rd or 4th year HBO student in HRM;

  • We would like to see you complete your internship with a positive result. We therefore find a number of competencies important: customer orientation, result orientation, stress resistance, and quality orientation.

  • The internship period runs from 1 February 2027 for 5 or 10 months;

  • You take things on independently and like being part of a team;

  • You like helping others and are ready to support colleagues where necessary;

  • A touch of humor is always welcome!

Of course, you are not standing there alone! You work together with your HR L&D team. You handle all administration for learning and development, such as the planning of training courses and the administration of students and interns. From management and the board, the team receives advisory issues regarding Learning & Development. You do this for our 3000 employees at VIGO, Pactum, Momentum, and Vincent van Gogh.

What makes us unique?

VIGO offers effective and affordable care, treatment, and guidance to young people and adults. We do this with our business units (BUs) of Stichting Pactum, Momentum, Vincent van Gogh, and Centiv, in collaboration with various external partners.

The support services facilitate these business units from the VIGO Service Network (VSN). We help people deal better with their vulnerability at the moment it is needed. The earlier we help young people and adults well, the smaller the chance that we see them again in more intensive forms of (forensic) care. Through collaboration and innovation, we fulfill our social mission and build affordable and accessible care.

At VIGO, we believe in the power of the whole. If you start working as an intern at one of our organizations, you will work closely with your own colleagues, but also those of other affiliated institutions. Not only regarding the care and guidance of clients, but also in the rollout of projects. We combine our strengths in innovation and learn continuously from each other. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and taking initiative are key words.

The work is primarily carried out at the location in Venray. However, it is possible that your presence may be requested some days at one of our other locations (Nijmegen, Deurne, Venray).
