The role
Do you believe that sustainable change begins in relationships? As a contextual therapist at Pactum in Deurne, you will help young people and their families to strengthen connections, break patterns, and create perspective. Within a dedicated team, you will be given the space to fully utilize your expertise.
"I work contextually, so always from the perspective of the relationship. That means: connecting, not judging, temporarily parking my own ideas. Making real contact. Because what you see—angry words, resistance—is often just the tip of the iceberg. Beneath that lies sadness, pain, loss. That is where I want to be present." - Brigitte
Your role, your challenge
As a contextual therapist, you will work with young people and their networks from a contextual and systemic perspective. As a contextual therapist, you will be welcomed into an environment where your vision, experience, and expertise are of importance.
You will enter family systems in which the challenges are often complex and multifaceted. Think of issues of loyalty, complex divorces, trauma, attachment problems, or relationships under pressure. You will facilitate conversations in which different perspectives and interests are given a place. It is precisely this complexity that appeals to you. You know how to look beyond behavior, can handle resistance, and together with families, you search for new possibilities and perspectives.
You will:
Perform contextual therapy under the supervision of our behavioral scientist.
Collaborate with the treatment team to provide the best possible support to young people, parents, and their networks.
Promote contextual thinking by providing training and workshops.
Ensure accurate reporting and registration of treatment plans and processes.
Requirements
You have courage, perseverance, and professional solidity. Where others see deadlocked situations, you see opportunities to create movement. You feel at home in complex cases and see opportunities for development and change within them.
In addition, you possess:
A relevant HBO (higher professional education) degree, for example in Social Work, Pedagogy, or similar, and a valid SKJ registration.
A completed training as a contextual therapist.
Experience with complex family dynamics and systemic issues.
Knowledge of complex divorce issues.
Knowledge of "Een Taal Erbij" is a plus.
