February intern youth care worker mbo or hbo | Het Voorhuis | 16 - 32 hours | Okkenbroek

At learning farm de Grote brander in Okkenbroek, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn intern for Het Voorhuis, a small-scale family group. The strength of Het Voorhuis lies in establishing an organized home where we want to strengthen everyday life as much as possible. Het Voorhuis is a warm and loving place that serves as a safe living environment for the young people. Currently, 6 young people live in the family group who deal with various issues. At Het Voorhuis, we also offer tailored care in two resident rooms, where young people stay who, where possible, work on their independence.

The young people living at Het Voorhuis are between the ages of 10 and 18. We offer support in daily household tasks and provide guidance in, among other things, therapy and extracurricular activities. We work with personal goals with the young people. These are adjusted where necessary, so that they are always appropriate to the child's situation.

You have an open attitude and are curious to learn. You enjoy being active and are open to acquiring new skills. You are good at collaborating, but you also dare to try things out independently. Flexibility and a positive attitude will help you move along in a dynamic environment. An affinity with the outdoors and animals is a plus!

In addition, the following points are also important:

• At the start of the internship, you are at least in the 2nd year of a relevant mbo4 or hbo program (e.g., Social Work, Community Care, Pedagogy, Social Work, applied psychology or similar);

• At the start of the internship, you are at least 20 years old;

• You are looking for an internship for 10 months;

• You are available during the week from approx. 15:00 - 22:00 and at least two weekend days per month.

We offer an educational internship in which you can optimally develop yourself, both personally and professionally. You will do your internship in a beautiful working environment with an informal and collegial atmosphere, with a team that stands for the target group.

• The CAO Jeugdzorg applies. Every intern receives an internship allowance of €625 per month (based on 32 hours per week);

• Guidance by a permanent supervisor within the team;

• A clear and methodical concept from which guidance and leadership are provided;
