What you'll get

We offer an educational internship in which you can optimally develop yourself, both personally and professionally. You will do your internship in a beautiful working environment with an informal and collegial atmosphere, with a team that stands for the target group.

  • The CAO Jeugdzorg applies. Every intern receives an internship allowance of €625 per month (based on 32 hours per week);

  • Guidance by a permanent supervisor within the team;

  • A clear and methodical concept from which guidance and leadership are provided;

  • Internship period starting from February 2027 for at least 10 months.

The role

Are you looking for an internship where no two days are the same? At our residential location, you will guide young people and young adults in increasing their self-reliance and will receive plenty of space to develop yourself as a future professional.

Your team, your place
The residents are young people and young adults who deal with complex behavioral problems and various vulnerabilities. They vary in age (between 17-27 years) and are in different stages of their lives, requiring guidance to function as independently as possible. Within the framework of the Wmo, we offer them a safe and supportive environment in which they can develop their social, financial, and living skills.

As a mentor, you are the designated person to guide and support our residents to enable them to participate successfully in our society again. You offer individual guidance and work on the wishes and goals that you establish together with the residents, based on the municipality's indication. This forms the basis of the care plan, through which you work on social, financial, and living skills.

Additionally, you support the residents in their work or daily activities, hobbies, and personal networks. You guide them toward as independent a household as possible to increase their self-reliance.

Requirements

You have an affinity for our target group and enjoy supporting young people and young adults in their development toward greater independence. You are proactive, enjoy taking initiative, and are open to irregular working hours. Furthermore, following the internship, there is the possibility, in consultation, to conduct a graduation research project within the organization.
