About VIGO
In their own words
About the company & team
You work with people who are stuck in multiple areas of life and have come into contact with the justice system. You report to our clients, the Public Prosecution Service, the Court, and the Custodial Institutions Agency; additionally, you guide clients through their trajectories, supervise special conditions, and report on these. You are the link between care and criminal law, and you act as an expert witness in court. Together with justice, police, prison services, municipalities, the social domain, and forensic care providers, you work on preventing new criminal behavior and on the recovery/reintegration of the client into society.
For our team, we are looking for two new colleagues;
- a hybrid probation officer: someone who primarily advises, analyzes sharply, and reports clearly. Do you have a smooth writing style and a sharp eye for detail? Then you are the one we are looking for. Conducting hearings on ZSM (urgent cases) or RPI (intensive supervision) activities may also potentially be part of your duties.
- a hybrid probation officer: someone who primarily supervises, focuses on behavioral influence, but does not lose sight of the risk in the process.
Your work area is the whole of Limburg, with an emphasis on North and Central Limburg.
