Healthcare Assistant (IG)/ Night Shift Supervisor

In the role of healthcare assistant (IG)/night shift supervisor, you perform duties between 22:15 and 07:45 and ensure a safe living environment for the clients at the location. You do this by staying awake throughout the night, solving practical problems, and taking action during emergencies. As a healthcare assistant (IG)/night shift supervisor, you identify problems and report them during the handover. Additionally, you administer medication and monitor the day-night rhythm of the clients. Using the presence approach, you try to connect as closely as possible to the client's needs, in which trust plays a major role. If necessary, as a healthcare assistant (IG)/night shift supervisor, you offer clients support with matters regarding personal care.

From September 2026, the Lorentzweg location will be temporarily located in the old Tergooi hospital in Blaricum, because their own building is being renovated.

The BW+ is a protected residential setting in Bussum that is easily accessible by public transport. We offer guidance and support to 26 residents aged approximately 70 years and older. The residents have a psychiatric background; some have a limited somatic care need. You will work within a dedicated and experienced team of approximately 25 employees consisting of (coordinating) supervisors, assisting supervisors, household supporters, and activity supervisors. Together, we ensure a pleasant atmosphere in the group where everyone can be themselves.

Temporarily based in Blaricum
Lorentzweg is temporarily located in the former Tergooi hospital in Blaricum (this location is also easy to reach and is located next to the highway). Our own building is being fully and modernly renovated. As soon as the renovation is complete, we will return to our renewed location at Lorentzweg.

• A completed relevant MBO 4 degree.

• Work experience within mental healthcare (GGZ) is a plus.

• Knowledge of psychological vulnerability (disorders, etc.)

• Knowledge of somatic conditions.

• You are able to assess situations in a good manner.

• A salary between € 2,888 and € 3,917 based on 36 hours (CAO GGZ, FWG 40). An Irregularity Allowance (ORT) of 22 to 60 percent of the ORT hourly wage applies to this.

• Your first contract is a temporary contract. If we are happy with each other, your next contract will be for an indefinite period.
