As a caregiver IG in home care at Amarosa, you provide care to our clients at home. Together, we ensure that we deliver the best care. At Amarosa, you get the chance to truly make a difference.

You guide our clients on your route according to the personal care plan and encourage them to continue functioning independently at home for as long as possible. Because you have a lot of contact with the clients, you truly get to know them and, like no one else, you know which care is needed. In addition to nursing and technical care procedures, you offer a listening ear.

For a number of clients, you draw up a care plan. Naturally, you keep a close eye on your clients and you signal and report changes to the district nurse. If necessary, you also maintain contact with chain partners, such as general practitioners and physiotherapists.

You are a healthcare professional who looks beyond direct care and you are committed to truly making a difference. You have a warm and empathetic approach toward our clients. You can work well both independently and collaboratively. You are flexible and creative in thinking up solutions. You find it interesting to work with clients with diverse care needs. Furthermore, you possess:

• A diploma as a Nurse (IG);

• Knowledge of procedures and protocols;

• Humor, tact, and flair;

• Good communication and writing skills.

In home care, we begin the shift together with a cup of coffee and also end the day together. This way, you can also share your story with your colleagues if you feel the need. In home care, you work alone, but you are not alone in it. Your route is discussed and made known, so that you know where you are going and what you can expect. All clients live in a certain neighborhood in Wassenaar where you work. You head out by bicycle or car, or you take an electric bicycle from Amarosa. The clients have diverse care needs, such as clients who have just been discharged from the hospital and still need extra care, or clients who are less self-reliant. This makes the work educational and, above all, fun. Because after all, that is what it is all about!
