Your role as a Residential Care Assistant/VIG
In this meaningful position, you combine professional care with humanity. As a Residential Care Assistant/VIG, you work with a helicopter view: you oversee the bigger picture, coordinate care processes, and maintain close contact with residents and their families. Your focus lies on:

• Coordination of care and well-being

• Conversations with residents, family, and the team

• Being supportive to the colleagues who provide basic care to a resident

• Alongside your coordinating tasks, you also personally provide basic care to clients

In short, you are an important pivot in the organization. You stimulate the team, actively think along about improvements, and know how to bring atmosphere with a smile and a warm word.

Within our location, we have smart care technology (domotics) at our disposal. This includes things like the Momo bed sense app, Tonos (care technology that creates routes based on functions), VSM Vital Signs Monitor (this ensures a reduced administrative load), and ergonomic aids. These make your work lighter, more efficient, and give you more room for true attention.

In our Maison, 74 residents live who are accustomed to taking charge themselves. By coordinating well with their wishes and needs, we ensure as pleasant a life as possible. You will work in a warm team of care professionals and involved colleagues, both with and without a care background. Together, we ensure a close and supportive atmosphere.

• We are easily accessible by public transport

• You have your MBO diploma level 3 Verzorgende IG 

• You have a strongly developed sense of responsibility 

• You have a big heart for the elderly (care) 

• You have the ability to maintain an overview and provide structure 

• You are available for varying shifts according to the roster. If you have a preference, we would love to discuss it   

• Naturally, you have an affinity with technology in care 

• And not to be forgotten, you possess a healthy dose of humor and also possess resilience 

• A salary according to CAO VVT in FWG 35, depending on knowledge and experience, up to max. €3,592.96 gross per month based on a 36-hour work week  

• Pension accrual at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn, 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus    

• Stability, because you receive a one-year contract with a view to a permanent appointment. Employment of 32 hours is preferred; another number of hours is negotiable   

• You are entitled to an allowance if you work irregular shifts (ORT). The percentages depend on your hourly wage and the time at which you work an ORT shift, ranging from 22% to 60%
