You have a BIG registration as an HBO nurse, a completed education in HBO social work & services, HBO social pedagogical assistance, or HBO social work (outflow profile Care). It is also possible to apply with a completed post-HBO education as a GGZ-agoog.
Experience with treatment within the GGZ is a plus.
Possession of or being enrolled in a CGW training is a plus
You are independent, take initiative, and know when to seek collaboration with colleagues and chain partners.
You are curious about the person behind the complaints and can look broadly at a client's problems. You are observant and can effectively signal and discuss changes in a client's situation.
You find it important to work together with clients on recovery, self-reliance, and increasing personal autonomy.
Are you an outpatient nurse or counselor with CBT knowledge? We are looking for you!
As an outpatient nurse/counselor at the Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinic at Spaarnepoort in Hoofddorp, you will work with adults with diverse psychological complaints. In addition to anxiety, depression, or OCD, there is regularly a presence of comorbidity and complex issues. It is precisely that breadth that makes the work interesting: you look beyond the primary diagnosis and have an eye for the person, their environment, and what someone needs to be able to move forward.
You will work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other practitioners, but also with chain partners in the region. From your expertise, you will provide guidance supporting a CBT treatment, lead the activation group together with a colleague, draw up crisis signaling plans, and help the client with social-societal issues by making connections with network partners. We are looking for a new colleague who fits well into our team, has doors open for consultation, and perhaps joins us for a walk during the break.
You will often be paired with a colleague to perform dual treatments. In this role, you will be asked to help as an outpatient counselor/nurse when, for example, there are comorbid psychosocial problems, when referring to chain partners, when deploying extra cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques (such as in-situ exposure), regarding crisis sensitivity, and coordinating the steps to be taken to ensure safety (i.e., including creating a crisis signaling plan and sometimes a home visit).
You observe and signal changes in the psychological and physical state of clients and discuss these within the multidisciplinary team. You think along about complex cases and contribute from your expertise to a broad perspective on the treatment.
You support clients with psychosocial problems and help them gain more control and structure in their daily lives. You stimulate the self-reliance of clients and help them take responsibility for their own recovery.
Together with a fellow practitioner, you lead the activation group.
You pay attention to the system surrounding the client and involve loved ones when appropriate. In the treatment, you provide information and advice regarding psychological complaints, treatment, and the prevention of relapse.
From your expertise, you make an active contribution to the treatment plan and the collaboration within the multidisciplinary team.
You will work at the Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinic. Despite the name of the clinic, the target group is broad in practice. We treat adults with anxiety and depressive complaints, with obsessive-compulsive disorders and PTSD, but also see many comorbid and more complex issues. This makes the work varied and requires a broad view of the client.
You work in a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, a clinical psychologist, psychotherapists, GZ-psychologists, basic psychologists, a nurse, and a creative arts therapist. There are also colleagues in training. Together, you look from different disciplines at what a client needs. But above all, we are a connected team that finds personal involvement important for job satisfaction and enjoys walking together during breaks.
Collaboration does not stop at the walls of the outpatient clinic. We regularly work together with other departments within GGZ inGeest, such as the emergency psychiatry Kennemerland and the clinics. We work closely with chain partners in the region to ensure that clients receive the right support. Think, for example, of Brijder, Stichting Meerwaarde, Stichting de Linde, and Voorzet. From your role, you have a lot of contact with these parties and know when it is important to seek collaboration.
Within the outpatient clinic, we pay attention to recovery, personal autonomy, and the context in which a client lives. In doing so, we look not only at the complaints but also at what someone needs to pick up daily life again and prevent relapse. Trauma can be part of the issues. From our "Trauma First" vision, attention is given to this within the treatment, even when comorbidity is present.
Additionally, we work closely with our academic department. In addition to education and development, this department focuses on academic patient care and the setting up and conducting of scientific research.
Ideally, you have at least one year of experience in the outpatient field.
You will work at the Anxiety and Depression outpatient clinic in Hoofddorp, Spaarnepoort location.
You will receive a permanent contract immediately.
The position is scaled in FWG 55 according to the GGZ collective labor agreement.
We support you in your professional development, for example, in deepening your expertise, learning new skills, and increasing your digital knowledge.

With #Geestverwanten, we show who we really are: people who take care very seriously, but who, fortunately, do not always take themselves seriously. Especially now that healthcare is under heavy pressure, we are looking for colleagues who understand that laughing is at least as important as listening.
