For De Baton, Saffier's newest residential care location in The Hague, we are looking for multiple Individual Healthcare Providers (Verzorgende IG). De Baton offers a warm home to people with dementia and also features a Screening Closed Recovery department.
The location is currently in full development. Together with your colleagues, you will work on a pleasant living and working environment, where personal attention, quality of care, and collaboration are central. Here, you will get the space to think along, take initiative, and contribute to the further development of the location.
Where will you work?
De Baton is the newest residential care location of Saffier in The Hague Southwest. In this modern location, 136 people with dementia live in small-scale residential groups of 11 to 12 residents. The warm interior, spacious communal living rooms, and smart technology ensure a safe, homely environment where residents can move as freely as possible.
What makes working at De Baton special is that you become part of a new location where everything is still fully in development. You get the chance to help build a cohesive team, new working agreements, and future-oriented dementia care. Together, we create a place where residents feel at home and where employees are given the space to think along, take initiative, and further develop themselves.
De Baton is located in the Hague district of Bouwlust/Vrederust, close to the Westland and easily accessible by both car and public transport (bus 25 and tram 4).
What will you do?
As an Individual Healthcare Provider, you and your colleagues are responsible for the daily care, guidance, and well-being of residents. You support residents with personal care, perform nursing technical procedures, and monitor the continuity of care.
You work according to the care and living plan, observe and signal changes in the health or behavior of residents, and report these in the care file. Where necessary, you coordinate with caregivers, nurses, (residential) care coordinators, and other disciplines. With your expertise, involvement, and eye for the person behind the care request, you contribute every day to a safe, pleasant, and meaningful living environment for our residents.
You have an MBO diploma as an Individual Healthcare Provider (level 3)
You feel responsible for good and safe care
You think along, signal, and take initiative where necessary
You enjoy working together with colleagues and practitioners
You have an affinity with dementia care, somatics, and/or misunderstood behavior

Pension accrual at Pensioenfonds Zorg & Welzijn, 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus
