Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG) - In the Neighborhood

As an Individual Healthcare Provider in Charlois and Feijenoord, you will travel independently to clients' homes. You help them to continue living independently and comfortably in their own environment for as long as possible. In doing so, you look beyond just the care needs and pay attention to the person behind the client.

During your route:

• you support them with daily care (ADL);

• you administer medication and perform nursing technical procedures;

• you signal changes and take action if necessary;

• you coordinate care around clients and coordinate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals;

• you make time for personal attention and a chat.

You work independently, but you are not alone. Your colleagues are always available for consultation.

You will work within the district nursing of Humanitas in Charlois and Feijenoord. From our home care office in Hannie Dekhuijzen, you will head out to clients in the neighborhood.

Charlois and Feijenoord are versatile Rotterdam neighborhoods with different communities, cultures, and care needs. You will visit all kinds of people in their homes and work in both quiet residential areas and lively neighborhoods. The routes are clear and efficient.

You will join a close-knit team of (district) nurses, Individual Healthcare Providers, and Care Assistants. We know each other, have short lines of communication, and help one another. We find sociability, involvement, and taking shared responsibility for good care to be important.

You are independent, involved, and have a sincere interest in the people whose homes you visit. Many of our clients have a small social network or extra challenges in daily life in addition to their care needs. You therefore look beyond just the care you are coming to provide at that moment.

You think in terms of possibilities and are open to developments within healthcare, such as care technology. Sometimes good care requires looking just a little differently. Are you someone who bends the rules and sometimes colors outside the lines? Then you fit well at Humanitas.

Furthermore:

• you have a diploma as an Individual Healthcare Provider (Verzorgende IG);

• you are authorized and competent in medication and nursing technical procedures;

• you are available for day and evening shifts and on weekends;

• you can work independently and take responsibility.

• a contract of 0-24 hours per week, in consultation;

• a salary according to CAO VVT, FWG 40 due to the coordinating tasks: € 19.05 to € 24.69 gross per hour;

• 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% end-of-year bonus;
