(Senior) Electrical Maintenance Technician

• Performing all occurring maintenance activities (preventive, corrective, and modificative);

• Investigating, locating, and resolving faults in the production installations, peripheral equipment, and premises in the fields of electrotechnics and measurement and control;

• Investigating, locating, and resolving faults in control technology (PLCs, Frequency and Servo controllers, etc.);
• Contribution to and execution of technical adjustment and improvement projects regarding the electrotechnical and control installations and the production process;
• Active participation in work meetings and/or project groups within the production environment;
• Providing feedback on findings/remarks following maintenance work, with the aim of continuous improvement.

You will work in the Site Maintenance department, which is responsible for all technical maintenance at the Rockwool Roermond Site. Together with approximately 125 colleagues, you ensure that production continues to run well. You work in a team of 8 to 10 technicians and have daily work meetings with your supervisor and colleagues. Additionally, there are more than sufficient opportunities to grow into roles such as senior technician, equipment expert, work planner, or foreman. On a monthly basis, you will have some on-call shifts.

• Electrotechnical education, at least MBO level 3 or 4;

• Knowledge of electronics and PLC equipment (Siemens) and proficiency with PCs;

• Knowledge of Servo and frequency controllers;

• Experience with and knowledge of light PLC (Siemens) programming work;

• Knowledge of measurement and control technology, control technology, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus;

• Independence, stress resistance, and the ability to work well in a team;

• Some years of experience in a similar position is a plus.
