As a Leading Hand, you are the primary point of contact on the production floor and the right hand of the Team Leader. You take ownership of your shift and ensure a safe, structured, and efficient working environment. You know exactly what is happening, guide colleagues in their development, and intervene where necessary. You are the one who maintains an overview, makes choices, and together with your team ensures that our substrates are produced on time and according to the highest quality standards.

• Preparing and leading the daily work meeting (Oobeya round);
• Ensuring the right people are in the right place and safeguarding craftsmanship;
• Analyzing deviations and KPIs and initiating improvement actions;
• Daily follow-up of operational problems and monitoring progress;
• Handling ROCKsafe issues completely and carefully.

You are a leader who takes responsibility and makes a difference by advancing people and processes. You combine an overview with an eye for detail and know how to coach, correct, and motivate at the right moments. With your communicative strength and honesty, you create trust, clarity, and results.

• A completed MBO 3 education (preferably technical);
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English;
• You are strong in administration and understand its importance;
• Willingness to work in 5 shifts;
• Ownership and leadership: you stand up for your shift;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to coach people;
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• A good base salary with a shift allowance of 28.5%;

• A Rockwool contract immediately, where both a one-year contract and a permanent contract are possibilities.

• Working in a 5-shift roster;

About Grodan

At our Grodan department, we make plugs, blocks, and mats used in greenhouse construction. An innovative product used worldwide to grow various crops. Quality, as everywhere within ROCKWOOL, is held in high regard because our products are industry leaders within this branch. In the department, there are a number of lines that are fully operated by multiple operators.
