Maintenance Technician (day shift)

What do you bring?
• MBO work and thinking level, preferably in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics;
• Experience as a (breakdown) technician is welcome;
• Starters with a completed technical education are also very welcome;
• Technical knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering;
• Affinity with utilities and interest in getting to know and managing technical installations;
• Basic knowledge of PLCs is a plus;
• Good command of the Dutch language;

You don't have to be able to do everything on day one. We find it especially important that you are curious, love to learn, and want to understand and solve problems.

Who are you?
You are technically curious and enjoy solving problems.
You love working with both your hands and your head. You think in solutions, remain calm when a breakdown occurs, and want to understand how a machine or installation works.
Additionally, you have an affinity for utilities and find it interesting to deepen your knowledge in this area. You see our water plant and other technical installations as a great challenge to get to know.
You work accurately, take responsibility, and understand that you often get further together with colleagues than alone.
Experience is a plus, but we find motivation and curiosity to be at least as important.

Why you will find this job interesting
No two days are the same. Today you resolve an electrical breakdown on a filling line, tomorrow you perform maintenance on an installation, and the next day you dive into the technology of our water plant or utilities.
So you are not just busy resolving breakdowns. You also prevent them.

By performing inspections and maintenance, you ensure that machines and installations continue to work reliably. During maintenance stops and line overhauls, you also play an important role in maintaining and improving our installations. What are you going to do?
As a Maintenance Technician, you and your colleagues are responsible for the optimal functioning of our technical installations. Your tasks include:
• Analyzing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic breakdowns on our (PLC-controlled) filling lines and peripheral equipment;
• Performing inspections and preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent breakdowns as much as possible;
• Keeping our machines and installations in top condition;
• Performing and supporting root cause analyses, so that problems are solved structurally;
• Managing and maintaining our water plant and various utilities;
• Registering activities and technical findings in SAP PM;
• Identifying technical points for improvement and actively contributing to improvement projects;
• Collaborating with colleagues from the technical service and production to continuously improve our installations;
• Playing an important role during maintenance stops and line overhauls.
