Allround Maintenance Technician Day Shift (all genders) in the Netherlands

• Ideally, you have a completed MBO 4 education in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, or you are willing to obtain this;
• You are willing to work on-call shifts;

• You know what good collaboration entails, possess strong communication skills, and have a high awareness of workplace safety;
• You are (strongly) oriented towards electrical engineering.

As an Allround Technician, you are responsible for the maintenance of our various installations. You work on mechanical, electrical, and control systems and ensure that our installations continue to run safely, reliably, and efficiently. No two days are the same: one moment you are performing planned maintenance, the next you are analyzing and resolving a complex malfunction.

What else you will be doing:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on installations;
• Locating, analyzing, and resolving technical malfunctions;
• Independently performing fault analyses and proposing structural solutions;
• Registering and handling activities in SAP;
• Coordinating activities with operators, colleagues, and work planners;
• Supervising external parties and overseeing safe and hygienic working practices;
• Thinking along about improvements to installations, maintenance plans, and work processes;
• Sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues and production employees with technical issues.

You work in a technical environment where quality, safety, and reliability are central. Additionally, you participate in an on-call roster to provide support outside of regular working hours when necessary.

The Technical Service, Maintenance department at FrieslandCampina in Borculo consists of approximately 35 specialists. This team consists of maintenance and compliance engineers, work planners, technicians, team leaders, and technical warehouse employees—a close-knit and committed team with a pleasant working atmosphere! In addition to Maintenance, the Technical Service consists of the Operational Technology, Utilities, and Facility Services departments. All departments report to the Technical Service Manager and collectively form part of the Technical Service (approximately 50 colleagues).
