What are you going to do?
As a Discipline Technician, your focus lies on improving the reliability and performance of the production installations of one discipline; you do this, among other things, by:

• Performing preventive maintenance and improving it through (e.g.) practice-based advice regarding inspection & replacement intervals;
• Contributing to breakdown analyses and RCAs;
• Resolving (repetitive) breakdowns to determine best practices for better diagnosis & faster recovery;
• Contributing to and implementing standards & simplifying working methods.

As an experienced technician, you share your knowledge through documentation of work instructions and, where necessary, you also organize corresponding training sessions. Additionally, you contribute to assignments for OEMs and supervise the execution of outsourced work.

You are independent, accurate, and always think one step ahead. Structure and quality are second nature to you, as are collaboration and taking responsibility. You have:

• Knowledge. MBO level of work and thought, preferably demonstrated in the form of a completed education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or VAPRO-B.
• Experience. You have 3-5 years of work experience in a comparable role in the production, process, or manufacturing industry.
• Technical expertise. You are technically proficient and possess good knowledge of the production installation of the relevant discipline.
• Communication skills. You have a good command of the Dutch language. Proficiency in German and English is a plus.
