Maintenance Technician (5 Shifts)

Do you have a completed MBO-4 education in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics and do you want to further develop your technical knowledge within an industrial production environment? As a Maintenance Technician at ROCKWOOL, you are responsible for analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions and contribute directly to the continuity of the production process.

• Investigating, locating, and resolving technical malfunctions;
• Analyzing the nature, scope, cause, and impact of malfunctions;
• Applying and following applicable safety measures and regulations;
• Registering and reporting performed activities in SAP;
• Actively participating in work meetings and contributing to technical improvements.

Your work area covers the entire ROCKWOOL site in Roermond, with an area of approximately 381,700 m², comparable to about 60 football fields.

Various malfunction reports come in from production via the Leading Hands. You assess the nature, scope, and urgency of every malfunction and determine which action is required. You analyze whether the malfunction can be resolved independently and in the short term and, if necessary, involve the appropriate colleague or specialist.

The malfunctions are diverse and require broad technical knowledge. In addition to electrical engineering issues, you will deal with mechanical engineering technology and automated production lines. Thanks to your technical and process-related knowledge, you are able to effectively analyze malfunctions and contribute to as stable a production process as possible.

After performing the activities, you record the actions taken and findings in the Technical Service logbook. Additionally, you carefully register all activities in SAP.

You have a broad interest in technology and are focused on continuously developing your professional knowledge. You possess analytical and problem-solving abilities and know how to set the right priorities even with complex malfunctions.

You work independently where possible and actively seek collaboration with colleagues and specialists when necessary. With your technical knowledge and practical attitude, you make an important contribution to the availability and reliability of our production installations.

In addition, you possess:

• A completed MBO-4 education in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering;
• Several years of relevant work experience in a similar position within an industrial environment;
• Good oral and written command of the Dutch and English languages;
• Willingness to work in a shift roster.
