For our logistics department in Roermond, we are looking for three Logistics Leading Hands who get energy from a dynamic operation and naturally take the lead. As a Leading Hand, you are the first point of contact for a team of 4-8 distribution planners during your shift. You ensure that tasks are distributed well, maintain an overview of the planning, and intervene when the operation requires it.
But this role is about more than just planning alone. You lead people, set priorities, solve problems, and together with your team, ensure a reliable and efficient logistics operation. You are visible on the shop floor, know what is happening, and take responsibility when the situation calls for it.
As a Logistics Leading Hand:
This position is performed in a 5-shift service. This means that together with your team, you ensure that our logistics operation continues to run 24/7. The dynamics of a production environment suit you. You enjoy switching gears quickly, making decisions, and ensuring the operation runs well with every new shift.
We are looking for an experienced logistics professional who can combine leadership and logistics operations well.
Additionally, you are someone who remains calm when pressure increases, can set priorities quickly, and communicates clearly. You take responsibility, address people when necessary, and know how to get colleagues on board with changes and improvements.
