Do you want to lead an international team of engineers and contribute to the development of production technology within ROCKWOOL?

In this versatile management role, you will lead an international team of engineers working on diverse technical projects: from process optimizations to complex greenfield projects. You combine technical knowledge with leadership and a good understanding of the business. With this, you provide direction to the development of your team as well as to the technical solutions and standards applied worldwide within ROCKWOOL. Your location is Roermond. Because you work closely with colleagues and stakeholders worldwide, you will travel an average of 30 to 50 days per year, primarily within Europe.

You lead the Group Technology Systems team, an international team of approximately 10-12 engineers, working from Roermond, France, and Poland. The team specializes in production technology and production processes for ROCKWOOL's confectioning lines. Based on this expertise, the team supports CAPEX projects within the ROCKWOOL Group and develops technical standard solutions for our production facilities worldwide. Together with Group Development, the team also works on new technologies and solutions for the future. As Manager Engineering, you are responsible for the technical project portfolio and the development of your team. You ensure the right priorities and capacity and connect technical possibilities with the needs of the business.

· You lead, coach, and develop an international team of engineers.

· You monitor the project portfolio and ensure the right priorities, capacity, and resources.

· You are a substantive sparring partner for technical and organizational issues.

· You stimulate collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.

· You contribute to the development of technical standards and the long-term strategy for production technology.

· You work together with the business, factories, and colleagues worldwide on new technical solutions and initiatives.

· You build and maintain a strong international network within ROCKWOOL.

You are an experienced technical leader who knows how to connect people and technology. You understand complex technical issues and can translate them into solutions that contribute to the business objectives.

· A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field, such as Engineering, Technical Business Administration, or similar.

· Experience in managing, coaching, and developing technical professionals.

· Experience with engineering, project management, production technology, or CAPEX projects.

· An open and connecting leadership style and strong communication skills.

· The ability to maintain an overview, set priorities, and switch gears in a dynamic international environment.

· A strategic vision and the ability to provide direction to the development of the team and the technology for the next 3 to 5 years.

· Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English.
