Resident not in training to become a Specialist (ANIOS) Internal Medicine

In this way, you not only lay a broad foundation for everything that matters, but you also have many opportunities to get on the radar for a residency position!

As an ANIOS, you will of course receive good guidance and be coached in your development. You will also receive a portfolio from us, so that you have all the documentation of what you can do. You can, of course, make good use of this in your future career.

As an ANIOS within our ANIOS pool, you gain experience within the specialties of internal medicine, cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology and hepatology, and rheumatology. You will start with an induction period in the Emergency Department, First Aid, and the Pulmonology department. You will complete this induction period with a block of shifts. After that, you will be in a different department every three to four months. Are you interested in one specific specialty? That is no problem, we will take that into account!

As an ANIOS, you perform ward work and shifts to gain experience. Because you rotate between different departments, you have the opportunity to discover what suits you, but also to make yourself stand out for further training and to build valuable contacts for the future. This ANIOS position is a collaboration between the departments of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Rheumatology.

You have completed your medical studies and are looking for the perfect place to launch your career. As an enthusiastic junior doctor, you are curious and driven to acquire knowledge and learn. You see the ANIOS position as a great opportunity to secure a residency position and perhaps even to establish contacts for promotional research. You have good analytical insight and good communication skills.

For this position, you must be able to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) before the start of employment.

To start successfully in this role, it is important that you have a good command of the Dutch language (minimum B2 level) due to contact with, among others, patients and colleagues. Additionally, it is a requirement that you are permitted to work in the Netherlands (EU/EEA nationality or a valid work permit).

Depending on education and experience, the salary is at least € 4,642 and at most € 6,393 gross per month for a full-time appointment.
This amount excludes holiday allowance and a year-end bonus of 8.3% of your gross annual salary.
