As Project Leader Information & Data at NAZL, you play a key role in the data-driven information provision of acute care in Limburg. You connect data, processes, and people to support strategic and operational decision-making. Through your work, you contribute to:
Data-driven management in acute care, by providing actionable insights for care managers, controllers, physicians, and executives.
More efficient care processes via interactive dashboards, reports, and data analysis (e.g., integrated capacity management dashboards and ROAZ overview).
Innovation and knowledge sharing, by organizing data events (including around Care Coordination) and strengthening the NAZL knowledge center (Learn, Share, Connect).
Leads projects in the field of information provision and data, such as the implementation of Procurios, the further development of ROAZ overviews, and capacity dashboards.
Translates information needs of stakeholders (care managers, controllers, physicians, executives) into concrete datasets, KPIs, and reports.
Advises on data usage, data governance, and the optimization of NAZL's data infrastructure, in line with national developments (including GDPR compliance).
Organizes and facilitates events regarding data and information exchange (including for acute care and care coordination), to share knowledge and create support.
Collaboration with regional and national parties (including ambulance care, hospitals, LNAZ, VWS) to strengthen data-driven collaboration in the acute care chain.
Represents NAZL in consultations with external parties and contributes to the information policy of the network.
Develops and manages interactive dashboards (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) for operational and strategic management.
Ensures reliable management information based on data from care systems, CBS, Vektis, Procurios, and other sources.
Makes data insightful for non-technical stakeholders through data storytelling and clear reports.
You will be working within the Limburg Acute Care Network (NAZL), a regional network in which healthcare organizations and professionals work together on future-proof and well-organized acute care in Limburg. From NAZL, we work daily on issues that affect the entire acute care chain. In doing so, we connect people, organizations, knowledge, and data to reach better solutions together.
You will become part of the NAZL team, a compact and multidisciplinary team of professionals with various expertise. Think of program management, project leadership, data & information, communication, and support. Precisely because the team is relatively small, the lines are short and there is plenty of room to take initiative and responsibility yourself.
In your role, you will work closely with colleagues within the NAZL network office and with professionals from hospitals, ambulance services, GP organizations, GGDs, and other partners in acute care. As a result, you move easily between data and technology on one hand and the practice of acute care on the other. One day you work on a dashboard or information issue, the next day you discuss with healthcare professionals or executives which insights they need to be able to make the right choices.
Your Responsibilities:
Project Management & Advisory
HBO or WO degree in (Clinical) Informatics, Business & IT Management, Data Science, Information Science, Health Sciences, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience as a project leader, information advisor, or data analyst, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Experience with setting up and leading data-related projects (including implementation of systems such as Procurios).
Knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) and SQL/ETL processes.
Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
Understanding of care processes and acute care logistics is a plus.
Knowledge of GDPR compliance and handling special personal data in healthcare.
Proactive and solution-oriented: You see opportunities, take initiative, and think along about the future of NAZL.
Strong communication skills: You can make complex data understandable for various stakeholders and create support.
Collaboration: You enjoy working in a hybrid environment and contribute to an open, positive culture.
Creative and analytical: You can translate proposals into understandable memos, presentations, and information products.
A challenging and varied job in acute care in Limburg, where you make a direct impact.
Room for own initiative and the opportunity to think along about the future of NAZL.
Collaboration with leading healthcare institutions in Limburg.
Access to unique datasets (including national trauma registration, capacity data).
Hybrid working (home/office) with flexible employment conditions.
Attractive secondary benefits.
