The role

On our hybrid learning department, a portion of our colleagues are in training to become nurses or nursing supervisors. Together with other colleagues in training and learning coaches, you run the department. You will be guided by our learning coaches; these colleagues already hold a relevant Healthcare & Welfare diploma. Teachers from Gilde Opleidingen come to the location for the education of the MBO students. Every colleague in training can learn in a "personalized" way (fitting within their own learning pace and level), an education where theory and practice integrate even more. We call this Hybrid Learning.

Requirements

You are interested in following one of the following training programs:
Nurse (MBO)
Combined training nurse/social care level 4 (MBO)
You are independent and take your own initiative regarding your learning process.
You have a clear goal in mind.
You are curious and inquisitive and do not hesitate to take the initiative.
You are open to a new form of education. You are flexible and enjoy thinking along about the implementation of this form of education.

How we put you first

You will be offered a work-study contract for 32 hours per week; this is for the duration of the training. The schooling is provided by ROC Gilde.
During your work-study program, you will be guided by your Learning Coach.
Learning and working are central in this position. We offer you a work-study placement starting from February 2027.
The training is fully paid for by Vincent van Gogh. The salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the CAO GGZ. Scaling will be discussed during the employment conditions interview.

About the company & team

As a colleague in training, you will nurse, care for, and support clients with psychosocial or psychiatric disorders. You respond to requests for help, intervene in crisis situations, and act in a normalizing manner. Together with the clients, you ensure that they can cope with their behavior and symptoms, and you encourage them to take control of their own lives. Building a relationship of trust with clients and maintaining it is therefore of great importance within this environment.

You will start at the LBV (Long-term Support and Residence). This is a clinical residential setting and has a wide range of clients with diverse issues; clients vary in age. The aim here is to provide a safe living and residential environment, in which matters such as person-centered care are central.

LBV consists of four units, each with two residential units. On average, six clients reside per residential unit in an open or closed setting for intensive support and treatment. Our clients are admitted here voluntarily or by force. The hybrid learning environment focuses on two of the four units.
