Functional Application Administrator WMS/WCS (32 - 40 hours)

Do you take responsibility for the daily functioning, management, and optimization of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Warehouse Control System (WCS)? As a Functional Application Administrator WMS/WCS, you act as a vital link between the logistics operation, IT, and external suppliers, ensuring stable and efficient warehouse automation.

As a Functional Application Administrator WMS/WCS, you translate operational needs and bottlenecks into functional solutions within the WMS and WCS. You are responsible for the setup, configuration, and management of WMS and WCS. Together with the user organization, you develop test scenarios and test the adjustments. In doing so, you ensure knowledge transfer and guide the user organization during the go-live. Furthermore, you act as the first point of contact for questions regarding WMS and WCS and provide 1st line support. You prioritize and handle incidents and changes and monitor the continuity of the systems.

• The HBM warehouse in Waddinxveen is almost 40,000 m2.

• Part of our warehouse is automated and we use advanced paternoster cabinets.

• From this warehouse, we ship 825,000 parcel orders and 100,000 pallet orders per year with multiple carriers throughout Europe.

• Our warehouse has multiple outbound processes that must all converge at dispatch in a timely manner.

• We stock 9,000 SKUs in the warehouse, divided across more than 10 different storage classes.

• 2,000 containers arrive at our facility per year.

• Experience with SQL.

• Experience with interfaces and messaging standards (API, XML, JSON, EDI) is a plus.

• Experience with WMS/WCS is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Resilient to stress and able to set priorities.

• You maintain an overview and have an eye for detail.

• Professional command of the Dutch language.
