ServiceNow DevOps Engineer

As a ServiceNow DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for the development, automation, and technical platform management of ServiceNow. You translate requirements into robust solutions, monitor the quality of changes, and ensure that the platform continues to function reliably.

• Developing, configuring, and optimizing functionalities within ServiceNow

• Managing and improving the ServiceNow platform, including monitoring, maintenance, and controlled releases

• Performing upgrades, clones, patching, and management of the environments (Dev, Test, Prod)

• Integrating ServiceNow with other applications and systems via APIs, web services, and integration tooling

• Applying best practices regarding governance, security, compliance, and deployment standards

• Analyzing and resolving incidents and structural technical problems according to ITIL processes

• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing and quality improvement

• Completed HBO/WO education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field

• At least three years of experience with ServiceNow or willingness to quickly acquire knowledge and skills

• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL processes

• Excellent command of the Dutch language and good command of the English language

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus

• Experience with scripting and automation is a plus

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs, including REST and SOAP, is a plus

• Preferably a valid ITIL Foundation and CSA or CAD certification

Completing an assessment may be part of this application procedure. This assessment is conducted between the first and second interview.
