• You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position;

• You have knowledge of and affinity with automated software systems;

• You have strong communication skills and can collaborate well;

• Knowledge of 5S or another quality system is a plus.

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

• You live in the Netherlands, within a reasonable (travel) distance of Waddinxveen.

Your playing field? Our impressive 40,000 m² warehouse in Waddinxveen. Within one of our logistics departments, you will lead your team daily and work together with other supervisors, the Manager Operations, and the Manager Fulfilment & Distribution. Together, you will take the logistics operation to a higher level.

• Creating a safe, structured, and pleasant working environment;

• Leading and coaching 15-45 colleagues in your team towards optimal performance;

• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements;

• Increasing efficiency and the service level towards our customers;

• You report on the deployment of personnel and equipment to the Operations Management and advise where necessary;

• You ensure the correct absenteeism guidance and are able to manage this well administratively;

• With your team, you ensure a working environment in which safety, order, and cleanliness are priorities and in which employees can develop.

As a Supervisor, you want to help build a growing environment, in addition to:

• You have knowledge of processes and procedures in a warehouse;

• The HBM warehouse in Waddinxveen is almost 40,000 m2.

• Part of our warehouse is automated and we use advanced paternoster cabinets.

• From this warehouse, we ship 825,000 parcel orders and 100,000 pallet orders per year with multiple carriers throughout Europe.

• Our warehouse has multiple outbound processes that must all converge at dispatch in a timely manner.

• We have around 9,000 SKUs in the warehouse, divided into more than 10 different storage classes.

• Around 2,800 containers arrive at our facility per year.
