With Damen Sustainable Solutions, we develop systems that significantly reduce ship emissions. These systems ensure that ships emit fewer harmful substances, such as NOx and particulate matter. In this way, we help make the maritime sector cleaner and more sustainable.

As an (International) Commissioning & Service Engineer, you ensure that our systems are properly installed, tested, and maintained on board ships all over the world. You are the technical expert who ensures that everything works as it should.

• Installing and commissioning our emission reduction systems.
• Testing and inspecting during FAT and SAT testing.
• Performing maintenance and service so that systems remain reliable.
• Preparing materials and tools.
• Reporting on performed activities.
• Collaborating and communicating with customers and colleagues.

An enthusiastic and practical colleague who enjoys working with technology and likes to travel internationally. You have a hands-on mentality and want to continue developing yourself. These international trips are usually four or five days long.

• A completed MBO education in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with both mechanical and electrical installations.
• The ability to read technical drawings.
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

• For this position, the salary is between € 3,000 and € 5,000 gross per month (based on full-time employment), excluding holiday allowance. We determine the exact grading based on your knowledge and experience. This position falls under the CAO Metalektro.
• Furthermore, you receive 27 vacation days and 13 ADV days per year (based on full-time employment), holiday allowance, travel allowance (23 cents/km), a good pension scheme, flexibility to work from home, and plenty of opportunities for training and career growth.
