Production Optimization Engineer B

• Education: A completed HBO (Bachelor's) or WO (Master's) degree in a relevant technical field
• Experience: At least 4 years of work experience in a similar role, ideally within the pharmaceutical or food industry (Pharma/Food).
• Expertise: Knowledge of production processes, preferably within filling, packaging, or process installations, and of quality systems such as GMP and ISO.
• Continuous Improvement: Experience with continuous improvement; a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a strong plus.
• Competencies: You demonstrate ownership, are analytical, proactive, and a strong connector who easily coordinates cross-functional teams.
• Language & Availability: Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written. You are preferably available full-time (40 hours).

• Analyze & Innovate: You perform systematic inspections and trend analyses to assess the performance of our production processes.
• Initiate Improvements: You identify bottlenecks, initiate optimization projects, and drive the overall continuous improvement process.
• Project Management: You represent the Franchise in multidisciplinary investment projects and ensure flawless implementation.
• Troubleshooting: You lead root cause analyses during operational failures to prevent recurrence.

In this role, you are constantly working on optimizing the safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency of our production processes. In doing so, you maintain strict supervision of GMP/ISO, environmental, safety, and occupational health (Arbo) requirements. Additionally, you represent the Lactulose Franchise within investment projects, lead multidisciplinary improvement initiatives, and provide direction to troubleshooting during complex operational problems.
