QA QC Specialist

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of working and thinking;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge of and experience with audits, both on product and on process;
• Material and product knowledge is a plus;
• VCA-Basis certificate;
• Proactive in acquiring knowledge to solve technical problems;
• Maritime/shipbuilding knowledge is a plus;
• Proficiency in software tool RDrive is a plus;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• A healthy dose of independence.

• Perform your quality controls and audits; internally and at suppliers, including follow-up;
• Handle your non-conformities;
• Write your inspection, testing, and repair plans;
• Develop (co-)quality plans for projects;
• Support the QC organizations of our production companies in Poland and China;
• Conduct your audits at production sites, including follow-up;
• Develop (co-)the inspection forms;
• Provide your input during the tender/sales phase;
• Propose improvements to the QHSE manager;
• Help shape the QHSE platform;
• Perform regular HSE workplace inspections.

As a QA-QC Specialist, you are responsible for monitoring and continuously improving our quality and production processes. You oversee compliance with quality standards, handle deviations, establish inspection and testing plans, and perform audits and inspections. Additionally, you guide customer visits and approval processes and actively contribute to a consistent and high quality standard within the organization. The position requires continuous attention to various subjects and the ability to work under time pressure and changing circumstances. In this role, you will regularly be traveling to our own locations and visiting suppliers abroad.
