Do you ensure that everything coming in flows smoothly into the warehouse? As Inbound Shiftlead, you lead the team, maintain an overview on the floor, and ensure that goods are processed safely, efficiently, and correctly.
In our distribution center in Waddinxveen, sea containers and shipments from all over Europe arrive daily. You ensure that this process runs in a tightly organized manner. During your shift, you lead the inbound team and maintain an overview of the workspace. You coordinate the unloading of containers and shipments, both manually and with EPT or forklift, and monitor the quality and stability of pallets.
You maintain sharp supervision of the scanning and registration process in the WMS. Product data, weights, and labels must be correct before goods are released to the Storage department. Thanks to your control and overview, colleagues can proceed further in the logistical process.
You work intensively with other logistical departments and keep the pallet flow moving between unloading docks, inbound zones, and storage locations. Do you see that something can be done better or that a process is stalling? Then you tackle that immediately. You identify bottlenecks, solve them, and think along about improvements that ensure more efficiency, safety, and quality.
You start the shift with a short briefing so that everyone knows what needs to be done. On the work floor, you coach and guide colleagues and help new employees get started. You ensure that work is performed safely and that the workplace remains neat and organized according to 5S principles. You report the progress and performance of the shift to the Supervisor or Warehouse Manager.
At HBM, we love to roll up our sleeves. We are growing fast, work with short lines of communication, and build a strong logistical process together. As Inbound Shiftlead, you play an important role on the floor in this.
We would love to receive your CV and motivation via the 'apply' button. Questions beforehand? Then you can contact Alexandra, our Recruiter, via solliciteren@hbm-machines.com or 06 86 84 95 75.
