The role

Hey HR talent! During your internship, do you want to not only grow yourself, but also help develop your colleagues? Then we can make good use of your energy! Start as a new Learning & Development intern within the HR team in Rotterdam:

What you'll do

Arranging, planning, and improving things - and truly taking ownership of them.
Contacting various people in the organization and helping them further.
Thinking along about learning, development, and how colleagues can grow in their work.
Working independently, receiving responsibility, and taking it.
Working in a team where your ideas are taken seriously and you have influence.

As a Learning & Development (L&D) intern within the HR team, you, together with the L&D Specialist, are the go-to person for questions about learning and development at Greenchoice. You help colleagues with their training requests, manage the online learning platform Greenhouse, and are responsible for organizing various trainings. In this way, you ensure that everyone can continue to develop in a way that fits their role and their future.

You are starting at a moment when a lot is happening in the organization: new plans, a fresh strategy, and extra focus on culture, leadership, and career paths. You will receive a lot of freedom to think along and discover what you enjoy. This also allows you to look into other HR topics, such as HR Business Partnering, Vitality, Recruitment, and Employment Conditions. Perfect if you want to gain broad experience and make an impact.

First point of contact for questions regarding the training and development of colleagues.
Organizing and planning trainings, from contacting trainers to post-training evaluations.
Thinking along about which training programs are needed and how processes can be smarter or more enjoyable.

Additionally, you are:

Currently pursuing a higher professional education (HBO) degree in the field of HR, Learning & Development, educational science, applied psychology, or something similar.
Available at least 24 hours per week. Preference is given to at least 32 hours per week.
You master the Dutch language, because all documentation and communication within Greenchoice is in Dutch.
