Technical Information Security Officer

As a Technical Information Security Officer (TISO) in Rotterdam, you will strengthen our digital security in an organization in the midst of a cloud transition. You will work on cloud security, identity & access, vulnerability management, and incident response, within an environment of both modern technology and legacy.

We are in the middle of a transition to the cloud, where modern technology and legacy converge. In this role, you will strengthen our Azure and Microsoft security and work with, among other things, Microsoft Defender XDR, Conditional Access, and Intune. You will develop and improve detections in Microsoft Defender XDR, including using KQL, translate threat intelligence into concrete actions, and help firmly anchor security in our DevSecOps chain.

During incidents, you will perform the initial analysis yourself and work together with our external SOC on further handling. Additionally, you will help translate technical risks into clear advice for teams and management.

You will also help increase security awareness within the organization and contribute to training, e-learnings, and phishing campaigns. You will supervise pentests and red-team exercises, monitor CIS baselines, and stand ready for questions and reports as 'officer of the day'.

• A gross monthly salary of € 3,796.00 to € 5,422.00 based on a 40-hour work week, excluding an 8% holiday allowance.

In addition, you have:

• Experience with technical and operational security, such as cloud security, identity & privileged access management, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Experience with analyzing and following up on security incidents and vulnerabilities, together with, for example, SOC and DevOps teams.

• Experience with improving and implementing security measures, preferably within an Azure and/or Microsoft 365 environment.

• An eye for the human side of security and experience with security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and CIS.
