Do you want to make an impact with your expertise as a Payroll & Benefits Employee in Rotterdam? In this broad role, you will be the point of contact for salary, pension, insurance, and mobility, and you will help make our processes increasingly smarter and future-proof.

You ensure that colleagues can rely on accurate payroll administration. Every month, you check the payroll processing, pension administration, and employee insurance. You assess declarations for fiscal accuracy, process special changes such as overtime, lease cars, and the bicycle scheme, and ensure everything is correct, down to the last decimal. Colleagues know to find you with questions about salary, pension, insurance, and employment conditions. Thanks to your expertise, you make complex calculations and regulations understandable.

In addition, you continuously look for ways to do things smarter. You analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and think along about further automation of the payroll administration and the configuration of AFAS. In doing so, you translate changes in laws and regulations into workable solutions and help make processes increasingly efficient and reliable. You also manage our fleet of over 100 cars, ensuring that everything, from driver agreements to fiscal registrations, is well organized. In this way, you combine substantive professional knowledge with a sharp eye for improvement and innovation.

• A broad specialist role in which payroll administration, pension, employee insurance, and fleet management come together.

• Unraveling complex issues and arriving at the right solution using your knowledge of laws and regulations, AFAS, and employment conditions.

• A great deal of independence and responsibility, while simultaneously building smartly designed, increasingly automated processes.

• Monitoring the quality of the payroll, pension, and insurance administration.

• You are the go-to contact for colleagues with questions about salary, pension, insurance, and employment conditions.

• Optimizing payroll processes, managing the fleet, and ensuring a smart configuration of AFAS and administrative arrangements.

• A gross monthly salary of € 3,200.00 to € 4,200.00 based on a 40-hour work week, excluding 8% holiday allowance.

• An individual choice budget of 8.33% of your gross annual salary, which you can use to make your own choices in your terms of employment. For example, you can have this amount paid out or use it to buy extra days off. You can also donate (part of) the amount to a good cause through our partnership with The Social Handshake.

• A performance-oriented bonus of up to two gross monthly salaries per year.

• 26 vacation days if you work full-time and 8 hours per year to dedicate to volunteer work of your choice.

In addition, you have:

• HBO working and thinking level, supplemented by a completed PDL and/or VPS education.

• At least 5 years of experience in payroll or salary administration, in which you independently analyze and solve complex payroll issues.

• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll taxes, employment conditions, pension schemes, employee insurance, and payroll systems such as AFAS.
